We would like to notify you of a fraudulent use of our corporate/group name, and domain name including the character of MUFG.

We have recently become aware of e-mails under the name of "Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley" from an address that seeks to mimic a legitimate "MUFG" domain address, an example being "sc-mufg.jp". Our company name is also used in the attachments of such e-mails without our consent. These e-mails appear to have been used fraudulently to persuade the e-mail recipient to send an advance payment of funds to some escrow account before realizing the profit of his/her holding shares.

Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley does not usually make direct contact with retail clients outside Japan.
