FIT For Charity Run

Overview of Activity

The FIT For Charity Run (Financial Industry in Tokyo For Charity Run) is a charity event held by the financial industry for donating funds to organizations engaging in socially worthy projects but that are unable to secure sufficient funds, through participation fees and sponsorship money for marathon and such events.
Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities has supported operation of the FIT For Charity Run as an official sponsor and a member of the organizing committee since 2009 (at the time, as Mitsubishi UFJ Securities), and since 2010 it has provided ongoing support for this event under its current name as a joint CSR activity with Morgan Stanley MUFG Securities. Every year, many employees from both companies and their family members participate in the FIT For Charity Run.

People from both companies sit in the same spectator section and cheer each other on at the event, creating a strong sense of unity between Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities and Morgan Stanley MUFG Securities.
In addition, since 2012, the employees of both companies in the spectator seats have made handwritten Christmas cards, which have been sent to hospitalized children nationwide through NPOs that the FIT supported in the past.
